Olivia was an undergraduate student majoring in biochemistry and biophysics at the University of Pennsylvania. Olivia worked in the lab from August 2015 to May 2018. She was a member of Penn Outdoors Club, SPEC, and the Physics Club. In 2017, Olivia was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and won the ASCB Undergraduate Poster competition. Although originally from Vancouver, Canada, she grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia. Olivia graduated with a M.S. in Chemistry and B.A. in Biochemistry and Biophysics. Olivia went on to pursue her M.D./Ph.D. at Stanford University.
